PN Physicians providers enjoy the flexibility to schedule blocks of time during which they can accept scheduled appointments or provide urgent or emergency consultations. They can work from the comfort of their home, office, or other preferred location on a full or part time basis.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Must all of the practitioners in my practice be required to participate in the network?
A: No. PN Physicians will contract with individual practitioners interested in participating in this innovative approach to bringing mental health services to individuals who may now not have such access. We encourage all mental health providers within a practice to consider participating, and are more than willing to offer a "clinic" agreement as opposed to an individual practitioner agreement if applicable. PN Physicians will help set up a turnkey solution to allow all practitioners in a particular practice to operate in a web based environment.
Q: Who do I bill for my services?
A: You will bill PN Physicians for all services provided as part of this relationship. PN Physicians will be responsible for reimbursing you for these services and will bill the appropriate payer.
Q: Will PN Physicians provide the web-cam and other telehealth equipment that I need? How will I arrange to obtain and install the equipment?
A: PN Physicians will provide all necessary hardware and software. Installation and training will be provided by and coordinated with PN Physicians Information Technology Department.
Q: Will I be guaranteed referrals?
A: You will be contracted for specific blocks of time and you will be compensated for the entire time period.
Q: How will individuals be matched / referred to me? Once they are referred to me will I be responsible to provide needed ongoing treatment / services?
A: You will be matched with clients based upon state licensure, specialty background, and scheduled availability. Continuity of care is an important component of PN Physicians clinical model and efforts will be made to ensure that once a doctor patient relationship is established it will be maintained as long as possible. PN Physicians will provide an afterhour's on-call service for patients.
Q: How will I be notified of a scheduled appointment?
A: PN Physicians scheduling staff will build the schedule for you and send you the schedule 12 hours prior to your scheduled shift. The schedule will be part of the EMR provided/used by PN Physicians.
Q: Do I need to be available 24 hours / day?
A: No. In addition to scheduled patient events you will need to respond to non-urgent, non-emergent patient concerns/issues and prescription refills in a reasonable amount of time. If you are unavailable for more than 24 hours you will need to notify PN. In that case another PN Physicians backup practitioner can handle time sensitive matters for your clients.
Q: Will I be able to create my own schedule?
A: Yes. You will be able to provide PN Physicians with your schedule preferences and PN Physicians will schedule shifts for which you are available and, as much as possible, according to your preferences.
Q: Do I need an EMR? Where will the patient's medical record be stored?
A: PN Physicians will provide an EMR and records will be stored and maintained securely by PN Physicians.
Q: Will I need additional liability insurance?
A: If your current liability insurance covers you for delivery of web-based telemental health services at the appropriate coverage levels no additional insurance will be required. If you do not have adequate coverage PN Physicians will assist you in obtaining sufficient coverage. PN Physicians has a relationship with a major medical malpractice insurance company that has agreed to provide coverage to allow clinicians to practice in a web based environment.
