PN has developed a secure portal through which the customer registers and connects to our therapists. We are governed by HIPAA regulations and have met all the standards for privacy, protected health information, and security. Providers that contract with PN’s Provider Association are licensed in multiple states and are matched during the scheduling process with patients residing in the states in which they are licensed.
If the patient does not have a web camera they may obtain one through PN. The camera is shipped to the patient along with instructions for its use as well as instructions on how to connect to our portal.
The patient’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is securely maintained and archived at the company’s headquarters. Records are retained and safeguarded according to generally accepted practices, regulatory body standards, and company record retention policies.
Appointments are scheduled through a central scheduling system. Patients may access providers through the secure web portal utilizing a password that has been provided to them. Virtual “private networking” and encryption technologies are utilized to protect the patient’s privacy and secure the session and the medical records.
